Azimuth Surveys Becomes First Community Sponsor of White River Diverse Festival 2026
Local company contributes SBD $5,000 to support unity, culture and community heritage at WRDF 2026
The
White River Diverse Festival 2026 has welcomed Azimuth Surveys as its first
community sponsor, marking an important milestone in preparations for the event
and its celebration of unity, culture and diversity.
Azimuth
Surveys General Manager Mr Rakeitino Soaki formally presented the company’s SBD
$5,000 contribution to Cr Rex Konofilia and Mr Moses Jnr Aunama, Chairman of
the White River Diverse Festival 2026 Organising Committee.
The
organising committee acknowledged the locally owned surveying company for
supporting an initiative designed to bring White River’s diverse community
together. The sponsorship also reflects Azimuth Surveys’ long-standing
connection to the area: the company’s late founder and owner was one of White
River’s community pioneers.
Supporting the
Elders Space
As
part of the sponsorship, Azimuth Surveys’ branding will feature at the festival’s
Elders Space. The dedicated area will give community elders an opportunity to share
stories, history and cultural knowledge with visitors, helping to preserve
White River’s rich heritage for future generations.
Cr Konofilia
acknowledged Mr Soaki and Azimuth Surveys for the contribution, highlighting
the importance of support from businesses with a strong history and connection
to the community.
The
SBD $5,000 contribution represents more than financial assistance. It signals a
shared commitment to promoting unity, celebrating diversity, preserving
community history and building a stronger future together.
On
behalf of the entire WRDF 2026 Organising Committee, the festival thanked
Azimuth Surveys for believing in its vision and becoming the first community
sponsor of the 2026 event.
