Solomon Islands Revival Fellowship Concludes 3rd National Rally with 140 Baptisms

A powerful display of faith, unity and spiritual renewal marked the conclusion of the Solomon Islands Revival Fellowship Church’s 3rd National Rally in Honiara, where 140 people were baptized.

Over four days, the rally brought together hundreds of believers from across Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Vanuatu, West Papua, Australia and the Solomon Islands.

The gathering became more than just a religious event, it was a celebration of shared faith and spiritual growth, particularly among young people.

From the opening march parade through the streets of Honiara to the final moments of worship and testimony, the rally created an atmosphere of joy and reflection.

For many attendees, it was a life-changing experience that strengthened their commitment to their faith.

As the Solomon Islands officially closed the 3rd National Rally as host nation, an announcement was made that Papua New Guinea will host the 4th National Rally in Port Moresby, continuing the momentum of regional fellowship.

Pastor Tevita Wanga from Fiji reflected on the journey of the rally, praising the dedication and unity shown by participants, which led to 140 people being baptised.

He said heaven rejoices as these individuals choose to receive the gift of the Spirit and begin their walk in faith.

“We, as brothers and sisters, sons and daughters of God, should rejoice for the hard work, the commitment and the effort that went into planning and preparation,” he said.

“Now we have achieved and fulfilled our goals. As we return home, we will continue the work God has called us to do and support our new brothers and sisters to remain strong in their faith.”

Echoing similar sentiments, Pastor Tim Rogers from Australia described the rally as a deeply moving experience for the Australian delegation.

“On behalf of the Australian saints, this has been a great time for us,” he said. “We have been truly touched by your faith and the opportunity to unite with brethren from across the Pacific. It has been a blessing on many levels.”

Pastor Rogers also acknowledged the tireless efforts behind the scenes, highlighting the vital role played by both men and women in making the rally a success.

“Our sisters are often the backbone of the fellowship, working quietly through fundraising, preparing food and caring for families,” he said. “And our brothers, along with the ministry and oversight teams, have worked diligently to bring everything together. This rally has truly demonstrated unity in the Spirit and the bond of peace.”

He added that while the event’s conclusion brings a sense of sadness, participants will return home spiritually renewed.

“Our lamps are full, and we will go back burning brightly for the Lord,” he said.

Speaking on behalf of the host nation, Pastor Incy Guruku from Papua New Guinea acknowledged the collective effort of local and international participants, expressing gratitude for the strong spirit of cooperation and faith that defined the rally.

He commended the oversight team, visiting pastors and members for their commitment, noting that the success of the rally reflects the strength of fellowship across the region.

As participants begin their journeys home, the impact of the rally continues to resonate, carrying with it renewed faith, strengthened relationships and a shared mission to continue the work beyond Honiara.

With Papua New Guinea set to host the next gathering, the spirit of the Revival Fellowship remains alive and growing across the Pacific.
