Easternder Travel Group Applauds Partners and Community Support Following Successful Temotu Bash 2.0

Easternder Travel Group has extended its sincere appreciation to sponsors, partners, and the Temotu community following the successful staging of Temotu Bash 2.0, held in Lata as part of the 43rd Second Appointed Day Anniversary celebrations.

Through its Events Division, Easternder Travel Group organised the second edition of the Bash, which attracted an estimated crowd of 1,000 people.

Building on the success of its inaugural event in 2025, this year’s celebration delivered a larger and more vibrant showcase of music, culture, and community spirit.

In a statement, the Easternder Travel Group acknowledged the vital role played by sponsors in bringing the event to life.

Tourism Solomons was recognised as the Gold Sponsor, while Rotary Lodge (Lata) supported the event as Bronze Sponsor and Accommodation Partner.

Additional support was provided by Our Telekom, Lee Plus Shipping, Temotu Pele Constituency, A-Plus Enterprise, Notano Enterprise (Lata), Solrice, and Geogas.

“Your commitment and partnership made this celebration possible,” Easternder Travel Group stated, emphasising the importance of collaboration in promoting Temotu Province as a cultural and tourism destination.

The Group also conveyed special thanks to the Tourism Solomons team, who travelled to Lata and spent several days supporting event preparations and delivery.

Their on-the-ground involvement contributed to the smooth execution of the event and highlighted strong cooperation between national and provincial tourism stakeholders.

Temotu Bash 2.0 featured performances from guest artists Trabol Sum and Kayler from Honiara, alongside five local artists from Lata and surrounding communities.

The event was hosted by Master of Ceremony Solo Bwoy, whose energetic presence helped create a lively and engaging atmosphere for attendees.

Easternder Travel Group further acknowledged the people of Temotu for their strong turnout and participation, noting that community support remains central to the event’s continued growth.

Now established as an annual event, Temotu Bash is a key component of the Group’s Discover Temotu Initiative, which aims to promote the province’s unique culture, hospitality, and natural beauty to both domestic and international visitors.

Looking ahead, Easternder Travel Group reaffirmed its commitment to expanding the event and strengthening its impact.

“Temotu Bash is more than just entertainment—it is a platform to celebrate our identity and showcase Temotu to the nation and beyond,” the statement read.

The Group concluded by thanking all artists, partners, and supporters for contributing to what it described as a resounding success, as efforts continue to build Temotu Bash into a flagship event on the Solomon Islands tourism calendar.
